Fa + Bric = Fabulous

I am trying to piece together from what I have of so called fabric an idea of my fabric story.. my textures to play with etc... here are some of the ideers and thoughts so far bout which to use and whatnot...

These are reserved for the domain of Hell on the third panel of the Hieronymus Bosch triptych....

Re + Search = Posisble NEW Ideas

The Garden of Earthly Delights is a dream that comes most often to me. Its beautiful, colorful, and lush gardens in the first two panels awe me and lure me into a dream of fantasy and fun. The Hell panel is what my nightmares look like. Dark creatures eating each other and lots of things that are unmentionable even here....

This painting made its impression on me one day when I happened to be in Madrid for the day when I was 14. I had somehow made it to Spain without a valid passport and had to go to the American Embassy or whatever it was to get a new one. That day I had time to do one thing. I decided to go to the Prado and to see the recently cleaned Hieronymus Bosch painting. Now at 14 I had absolutely no idea who the heck Hieronymus Bosch was or what his painting would do to my imagination for the next decade! This painting ended up being the number one most influential painting in my becoming a designer, applying to art school etc etc. Now since I can't get it out of my head and my dreams I am going to do a show/a line/a collection based around this amazingly adventurous piece of art.
