Gile + s = Silver Sparkling Swans for Spring 2012
The whimsical ways of Giles Deacon never fail to enthrall me. The Spring 2012 collection that Giles presented appeared to be a bit of a hodge podge as his collections can be, however I found a fierce and extreme elegance throughout the collection.
From Style.com I learned that Deacon's silver clad heroines, and swan printed warriors were "inspired" by many things. One of which, was Cecile Beaton's portrait of his sister Baba. It's almost as if Baba was walking down the runway herself!
